RANGITAIKI v. AUCKLAND LOCAL TEAMS SOUND PERFORMANCE The splendid, performance of Rangitaiki against tlie strong Auckland eleven in the Country Week Tourney, was the feature of Thursday's draw. Batting first the loeal boys compiled the line total of 242 Keepa (80), Gill'am (53), and Coutts (157) contributing exceptionally line innings against such strong opposition. That the teams bowling and fielding was also of a high standard was evident when such experienced bats men as Winter and Vallance found difficulty in scoring runs freely, and Auckland had lost five wickets for 1(58 at stumps.
