SATISFACTORY POLICE PEPORT

NO ACCIDENTS OR INCIDENTS

Whakatane has been handed a clean bill by the police department over the New Year week-end. This is particularly gratifying in view of the general tendency to celebrate on the part of the average person. However there were no accidents reported to the local police who i;i their turn were not called upon to arrest or prosecute during rhe whole period—in fact according to the officers of the law it was a very quiet time.
