RECORD KINGFISH
CAUGHT IN HARBOUR
Over five feet in length and measuring 24 inches across a giant kingfish was caught in the harbour yesterday by Mr W. Young of Toroa Street.
Mr Young was fishing from an open boat and landed the lish after a considerable struggle. Though the weight of the monster has not as
yet been ascertained, it is considered by local lishermcn to be unquestionably a record.
