LEAVE OF ABSENCE
HOSPITAL BOARD SECRETARY MR PRIDEAUX JOINS THE FORCES At its meeting last week the Whakatane Hospital Board received a request from the Secretary. Mr F. Pridcaux, for leave of ab sence as he had been called on foi service with the New Zealand Forces as Pavmaster-General. The Chairman, Mr J. W. He has the Lest wishes of everv member/ 11 said Mr Sumner, who moved that leave of absence granted. Mr L. Buddie endorsed the chairman's remarks and seconded the motion. Mr T. A. Bridger was appointed Acting-Secretary during Mi Prideaux's absence.
