BACONERS TO £3 19s The Farmers' Auctioneering Company report having held their fortnightly pig sale at Edgecumbe yards on Monday when they offered a good yarding of pigs to a large bench of buyers both outside and local. A large yarding of baconers sold under keen competition. Prices realised were : Heavy baconers £3 15s to £3 19s; medium baconers 53 8s to £3 12s; light baconers £3 2s to £3 Gs; porkers, heavy, £2 7s to £2 12s; medium £2 2s to £2 6s; slips £l 12s to £1 17s; large stores £2 (is to £3; weaners 18s to 245; choppers £2 3s to £3 4s. The next sale is to be held on Thursday, January sth.
