YOUNG FARMERS' CLUB

EDGECUMBE BRANCH The monthly meeting ofl the Edgecumbe Young Farmers Club was held recently, when there was a fair attendance. General business was discussed, the chair being taken, by Mr G. Murray ? while Mr R. Lambent acted as provisional Secretary, the hon sec. being away. AJ motion was put before the meeting by J,. Murray, that the Club offer their services at the forthcoming Summer Show to assist as junior stewards. This was seconded by J. Jamieson and carried unanimously. One new member was elected to' the club, and we extend to him a hearty welcome,. Supper and games followed after a quiet, but nevertheless pleasant evening. We take this opportunity of exteding the "Season's Greetings'' to one and all connected with the further , development of a club which exists fpr the interests of Young Farmers themselves.
