CROWDS AT OHOPE
HOUSES AT A PREMIUM Judging by the animated scene fit Ohope Beach during the week-end, the holiday season has begun. Houses are at a premium at th° beach, and tents have been erected by the score. Though the latter form of accommodation is popular it loses in comparison with the motor caravan, more of which aie arriving every day. Being line. Sunday saw large crowds on the beach, and the majority sought the sea as a relief from the sun. Freshened by the recent rain, the bush on the clifMacc silhouettes the crimson of the Pohutukawas now in full bloom, and shows them as vivid patches, adding more colour to the contrast of the golden sands and the blue of the sea and sky.
