PRIZE-GIVING ON FRIDAY XMAS TREE FOR PRIMERS On Friday afternoon every child in the Infant Department of • the Poro Poro school received a present from a Christmas Tree which had been set up on the lawn fronting the school. Marching round the tree the children selected their own gifts and these were handed to therf by Santa Clans, whose appearance was welcomed Avitli cheers. Prizes Avon during the year by the senior pupils were: F II: Joseph Nowland. F I: Peter Kendall. S4: Jaffrey Nowland. S3: Teresa Merito. S2c Polly Kelly. -SI: Wiki Hall. The headmaster, Mr Boswell, congratulated the prize-winners and wished all the compliments of season and a happy holiday.
