OHGPE AT HOME TO KNOX CLUB In matches played at Ohope last Saturday between the local Club and Knox Presbyterian Church, the latter I)roved to be too strong and prevailed by 15 games to 9. Following arc the results with Ohope players' mentioned first: — Ladies' Singles: Mrs Jackson lost to Mrs Wilson 3-6; Mrs Hume beat Miss A. Chamberlain 6-2; Miss White beat Miss P. Moore 6-2; Miss Connelly lost to Miss J. Patterson 1-6; Mrs Donaldson beat Mrs M. Martin 6-4; Miss Walton lost to Mrs Eggers 0-6. Ladies' Doubles: Mrs Jackson and Mrs Hume beat 1 Mrs Wilson and Miss Chamberlain 6-3; Miss White and Miss Connelly beat Miss Moore and Miss Patterson 6-4:. Mrs Donaldson and Miss Walton lost to Mrs Martin and Mrs Eggers 1-6. Combined Doubles: Mrs Jackson and G. Maliy lost to Wilson and Mrs Wilson 2-6; Miss Connelly and Sharman lost to Armstrong and Miss Chamberlain 5-6; Miss White and G. Mahy beat H. Young and Miss Moore 6-2; Mrs Hume and J. White beat J. Collins and Miss Patterson 6-0; Mrs Donaldson and Nicholls lost to V. Timbs and Mrs Eggers 1-6; Miss Walton and G. Mahy lost to K. Schofield and Mrs Martin 1-6. Men's Singles: Sharman beat E. Wilson 6-3; G. Mahy lost to H. Armstrong 1-6; White lost to Young 3-6; C. Mahy beat Collins 6-2; G. Mahy lost to Schofield 3-6; Nicholls lost to Timbs 1-6. Men's Doubles: Sharman and G.
