PRICES AT OPOTIKI

Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their monthly stock sale at the Opotiki saleyards on Thursday the 7th inst, -when a good average yarding of all classes of cattle came forward. Fat cows and boners were yarded in larger numbers than usual and we quote the following prices which were realised during the sale: Prime fat cows £6 17s to 7s 2s 6d; others £5 6s to £5 16s Jersey cows to £5; lighter £3 15s to £4 3s; store cows £2 15s to £3 10s; others in lighter condition to £3 8s; boner cows £1 19s to £2 ss; potter bulls £4 10s to £6 10s.
