THIS EVENING'S SHOW
GRAND VARIETY CONCERT ASSISTING RED CROSS All arrangements in connection with the Grand Variety Entertainment to be given by the Whakatane Division of the Red Cross in the King Street Hall this evening are now completed and residents can rest assured that by attending the function, they will not only be assisting the worthiest cause of the day but will also see a programme second to none. The hall has ample seating for an extra large crowd and there should be no reason to expect that any persons will not be able to occupy good and comfortable positions. The programme provides a bill cf fare embracing a round of features including humour, selected solos, physical culture display, Maori items (poi and native dances), light sketches and gymnastic exhibitions. Residents in town and district are asked to make a point of attending this special concert and high class show.
