PETROL PRICE

AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION'S OPINION SUPPORT FOR M.P. Some time ago ihe Member far the Bay of Mr A. G. Hußtquist, M.P., suggested that there should be a universal price for petrol. This opinion is supported in the following letter received by Mr Hultquist from the Automobile Association (Canterbury): Dear Sir, At a recent meeting of my Association, the comments recently made by you and as reported in ';'Hansard," were read and considered. My members are unanimously of the opinion that your contentions are in order and I have been instructed to write to the member for this district, the Hon. P. C. Webb, asking him to support you in the matter of a universal price for petrol.

Yours faithfully. W. E. L. GUY. Hon. Sec.
