WOMEN'S DIVISION

TE TEKO BRANCH

MONTHLY MEETING

Mrs Jamiesim presided over a good attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the Te Teko Women's Division which was held in the hall last Tuesday.

The afternoon opened with the reading of the creed and then the minutes were read and business discussed . Mrs Hannigan gave an interesting talk on her experience while travelling from England to Australia during the last Avar. The talk was much appreciated by all present and a hearty vote of thanks was accorded.

Competitions resulted: Best bloom Mrs Coulter 1, Mrs Pepperell 2. Best made article from one yard of cretonne, Miss J. Pepperell 1, Mrs Pepperell 2.

The afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Linsel and Ewen.
