The condition of Mrs Iv. S. Walldyke, who was severely scalded when she fainted near the stove at her residence, Ohope, last Saturday is slightly improved.
Mr A. G. Hultquisl,, M.P., left for Auckland on Tuesday and will return to-morrow. He will attend a meeting of the Bay of Plenty Labour Representation Committee at Te Karaka (Poverty Bay) during the week-end. 2nd, 3rd and 4th December'. He proposes to visit Opotiki. Motu, Matawai and Gisborne during the 2 or 3 days immediately preced ing the meeting.
