ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
STREET COLLECTION PERMISSION GRANTED At the meeting of the Borough Council last Monday evening a letter was received from the Hon Secretary of the St. John Ambulance Association requesting permission to hold a street collection. It was agreed by the members of the Council that the efforts of the Association to raise sufficient funds for the purchase of an ambulance should receive support and permission was granted, the date for the collection to be fixed by the Mayor.
