OPENING TONIGHT

NEW EDGECUMBE HALL SPECIAL DANCE EVENING Warm tributes, and appreciation of the residents of Edgecumbe, in connection with the building of the new district hall, by Mr T. Bell, which will open to-night, with a special, inaugural dance and card evening, are coming to hand. According to one well known resident, the builder has shown an enterprise and forethought well worthy of emulation. By making the seats moveable he has enabled the surface of the floor to remain unharmed for dancing and social functions. Edgecumbe may be proud of the fact that it now possesses one of the most up-to-date halls in the district.
