FORTHCOMING SHOW
THURSDAY'S FLOWER DISPLAY WHAKATANE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY The attention of all flower-lovers is drawn to the forthcoming annual show of the Whakatane Horticultural Society, which takes place in the Parish Hall or Thursday evening. As in the past the show embarces an afternoon and an evening session and caters for all varieties of garden flowers. Warm tributes to the garden products of Whakatane have often been forthcoming from visitors and the show is an opportunity for gardeners to show just what can Iv produced in this favoured clim.ite. Entries should be made now with the secretary, Miss G. Kent, though in the children's section special arrangements have been made to accept entries on the morning of the show.
