MOKORUA GOLF CLUB
SEASON ENDS PRESENTATION OF PRIZES
The season closed officially for the Mokorua Golf Club last Sunday afternoon. Ideal weather favoured the last competitions and the large attendance enjoyed an afternoon's excellent golf. Closing day competitions resulted as follows:
Nine hole mixed Canadian Foursome: Mrs Kelly and P. Campbell tied with Mrs Stone and W. J. Sharkey. Mrs Kelly and P. Campbell winning in the play-off.
Approach and Putting, Ladies: Visitors Mrs Mikkelson, members, Mrs L. Bridge.-. Men: P. Campbell. Long drive: J. C<wynne. After the afternoon tea adjournment the president presented the prizes won during the season. The presentations were:
