RIFLE SHOOTING
RANGITAIKI CLUB The Rangitaiki Rifle Club started shooting again last Saturday. The c!«ub has been fortunate to procure enough ammunition to carry on for a feAV months though the shoots had to be reduced from 10 shots to 7 shots and the competitions spread from one to two weeks. It is reported that, rifles are still unobtainable from ihe "Defence Department and this prevents younger enthusiasts from joining.
The conditions for Saturday's competition Ave re lavo shots at 200 yards. The next shoot for the President's Trophy Avill be held on Saturday, November lltli. Results:— Hdcp TI.
