WHAKATANE LADIES' CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the Whakatane Ladies' Golf Club was held in the Borough Council Chambers op. Saturday, October 28 at 7 p.m. there being a fair attendance of members. Mrs Buddie presided.
The president read the annual report covering the season's activities. The membership now stands at GO playing members, eight honorary, six limited, and six junior.
The treasurer's report read by Mrs Otley showed a substantial credit balance.
The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mrs L. Buddie; captain, Mrs J. N. Bullard; vice-cap-tain, Mrs (J. Otley; secretary, Mrs S. C. Spence: treasurer, Mrs Otley; committee, Mesdamcs Dawson, Luxton, Mussett, Powdrell, Rangi, Sloane Steel, Miss Whiteside.

It was resolved that nominations For committee be called for, and placed on notice board a fortnight before the date of the annual mcet,ing.; It was also resolved that a silver cup for B championship play be purchased. Votes of thanks to the chair, to those who arranged transport, and to the Beacon were carried unanimously, and the meeting Avas then closed. Trophy List.
