FURTHER SHIPS SUNK

BRITISH AND NEUTRAL LOSSES The latest British loss in the merchant fleet, was reported yesterday as the Malabar, which was sunk by a German submarine. There are 70 survivors and five deaths. The coastal trawlers Lynx and Synodas were also sunk yesterday in the North Sea. It is understood that their crews are safe. The Finnish steamer Uno, wAs sunk by an internal explosion, her crew being rescued by a passing Norwegian vessel. An Admiralty report states that a British destroyer came into action with enemy aircraft flying over the North Sea. Bombs were dropped but there Avas no damage done. It is not known whether the aircraft sustained damage.
