SUCCESSFUL DANCE
LIST OF TROPHY WINNERS The annual dance of the Waimana Golf Club held in the Waimana Hall recently proved a crowning success in every way.. Bowls of flowering cherry, and Azaleas decorated the stage, and the floor was in good order. Splendid dance music was played by the "Hot Scots" of Opotiki and Mr A. Wardlaw obliged with an exti*a. The novelty dances proved popular. The Monte Carlo Walitzs were won by Miss Powell and Mr Fisher, and Miss J. Grover and partner. A box of chocolates for competition was won by the Hot Scots. During the evening cups and trophies were presented by the piesident, Mr G. .Terrain, who thanked all the donors and said the members of the club greatly appreciated their help. Special thanks were extended to Mr R. Morton for the beautiful cup he donated for yearly competition and also for his services as door keeper.
