SCANDINAVIAN CONFERENCE
[ COMPLETED YESTERDAY The conference between the Kings of Denmark, Norway and Sweden and the president of Finland which took place in Stockholm earlier in the week was - completed yesterday. The Finnish president said that though the demands made by Russit on Finland were serious, he still had reason to hope for a peaceful solution. King Christian of lienmark spoke of the long period of peace enjoyed by the northern countries. In a message to the conference President Roosevelt said that the United States supported the principals of neutrality and order for which the Scandinavians had always stood.
