- Statistics cbvering admissions to fcjjfg! Whakatane Hospital presented . IS?n:he meeting of the Bay' of Plenty Hospital Board yesterday showed that 52 patients, 21 being males and " 31 females, were in hospital on Sep tember 1, admissions for the month being 34 males and 65 females, a total of 99, and discharges 32 males •.and 69 females, a total of 101. There were two deaths, both of 'females. There were 48 patients in hospital on October 1 23 being male patients and 25 females. Twelve males and 19 females were born and the.ro were four major and 28 minor op- - erations. The daily average number of ; atients was 51.3.
