SHOT IN THE BACK From neutral sources comes what are alleged to be the true I'aets surrounding the death of General von Fritsch, who was reported by Berlin to have been killed in atcion on the Polish front. It is stated authoritatively that General von Fritsehwas shot in the back by a storm troop leader under the definite instructions of his superior officer. It is also stated that since August :U the former General commander-in-chief General Blomberg and live other high military ofiiciais have been imprisoned. U-BOATS IN AMERICAN WATERS Mexico City reports that German submarines operating in the Carribean sea arc believed to bo provisioned and refuelled by Gei'tnan ship? now lying in Mexiclnn ports. The position is being closely watched.
