HITLER'S ORDER TO ADVANCE
5 ONLY PATROL ACTIVITY
: Hitler's order to. his army heads to advance and throw out the invaders who are entrenched on German territory has apparently been met with little actual response. Patrols are exceedingly active and groups of raiders up to 100 in strength, continue to closely approach the French outposts. In> every instance they have been repulsed by machine gun fire and hand grenades.
For the first time German reconnaissance planes ventured over the French lines. They were engaged by French lighters which went up lo meet them and driven off. Observers claim that the French machines were definitely superior. Mr Hore Belisha in his statement said that the British soldiers hi Franco had the same habits of
grumbling as had their fathers
1914. They sang the same Jongs, and did the same things. He was sure they 'would quit themselves in the same heroic manner as in the Great War. ,
