EDGECUMBE BRANCH MEETS . The monthly meeting of the Kdgecurabc Young Farmers' was held last Monday evening when there was a good attendance. Some discussion was centred round the holding "Farm Schools" of three or four days • duration ) locally, and it was decid- ; ed to support this which was i later passed on to Mr C. it- Taylor, . District Secretary, who would deal > with it accordingly. It was pleasing to see new members join, who were duly elected in the usual manner. The "Debate'' which was postponed will now take place towards the en.d 1 of the month, subject to the cons sent of the opposing party i the local W.E.A. It was also decided, to hoLI impromptu speeches of five minutes duration (on any at Mr _ lan Gow's residence on the evening . of October 16th. . ' The meeting closed with .sapper.
