SATURDAY EVENING'S SHOW LARGE CROWD ATTENDS All the excitement of the show days of old \va.s rc-emicted last Saturday when the residents of WhaUa- , tsinc gave liberal patronage to Perry Brothers' circus, which staged a oneday season on the portion oi; land actjoining the Strand, known as the 'Reclamation.' It would seem by the great interest evinced by young and old that the circus still holds its charm and attraction in spite of the mode..a trend to the "theatres. The novelty is in itself something that holds wide appeal and it will be many years before the sawdust ring will be deserted, Last Saturday'.; show revcalec: a wide range of entertainment.;., typical of the circus of o;d. The a;*ts on the whole were good, the nam attraction being the acrobatic turn by the Flying Dunbar.;, whose breathtaking ariel feats on the trapeze met with great apnUuso. The equestrian act furnished another bright spot, while the clowning delighted the audience and had cspecial appeal for the children. Perry Brothers' zoo, which is attached to the is yet another feature which commends itself to the country residents. During the afternoon a large crowd of spectators watched the animals being fed. Par ticular amusement attached to the
elephants, who roaming at will were mildly curious when approaching an individual.
