A VALUABLE RING
HELD BY WHAKATANE POLICE
An advertisement published to-day
draws attention to the fact that the Whakatane police are holding a gold and pearl ring which can be el aimed on the person who lost it producing proof of ownership and paying advertising expenses. It is quite a good ring, set with fairly largo pearls and other gems.
It came into :he possession of the police in quite a casual a small Maori boy bringing it in and saying that another child had found it.
