SUCCESSFUL EDGECUMBE DANCE The Edgecuir.be sub-centre of the Red Cross Society held a very successful . function to raise funds, in the Otakiri Hall on Thursday last. The new dance Boomps-a Daisy was featured and enthusiastically icceivcd. The music Avas supplied by the Whakatanc Caledonian Band. Monte Crii'lb \Vi hirers Averc Mrs Perkins and partner and Miss I. Bryant and partner, the winner of the box of chocolates being Misss F. Woodberry . Those present included Mcsdamcs Sunkel, Lc LieA-re, Burke, Dysart. Mead, Turnbiill, Jamieson y Gow, Hutton, Thompson, Ranby, Revell, MoodA r Whiteside List, Woods "' Pearse, Smith, Ley, Perkins, Goldsmith. Misses Ranby (2), Goav, Henderson Simpson.
