COMPETITION WINNERS

The monthly meeting of the Awaken branch of the Women's Division of: the Farmers' Union was held xecently in the Awakeri Hall, Mrs Luxton presiding over a good attendance

An appeal for the Leper Fund was well responded to.

Competitions were won by the following: Best flower ( Mrs N. McDonald 1, Mrs E. A.' Haul tain 2, Mrs Luxton 3. Cocoanut ice, Mrs J. Graham 1, Mry H. Luke 2, Mrs N. McGougan 3. Most articles in tin match box, Mrs J. Graham 1, Mrs A. L. Luke 2, Mrs H. Luke 3.

A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses Mesdames Davies, E. M. Butler and Dodunski.
