THREE MAJOR ALLENS M;ijor S. F. Allen, N.Z. S.(". v/lio lia.s been in charge oi' the No. 4 Mili tary District and Adjutant of the Waikato Mounted Rifles for the past year, has left for Wellington to take up his appointment at Trcnthnm as Officer Command'ng the Signalling Division. Educated at King's College, Major Allen then had a special course at the Duntroon Military College, Australia, and later undertook a special course at the Rova] Signalling School at Chattcrick, Eng land. lie has seen active military service on the north-west frontier of India with a British regiment. Major W. H. Allen a member of the Officers' Reserve, has been appointed Adjutant of the Waikato Mounted Rifles and has been placed in charge qfl the No. 4 Military District. Major J. M. Allen, M.P., for Hauraki second in. command of the Auckland Infantry Battalion, is ic ■- : ,o into camp at Hopuhopu.
