SERVICES ON SUNDAY The Presbyterian Assembly Committee lias pleasure in stating that, at the end of the Church's financial year the total contributions received or promised amounted to £200,000 or two-thirds of the objective aimed at. Special Thanksgiving Services wilt be held in all Presbyterian Churcnes throughout the Dominion on Sunday Ist -when all Presbyterian and friends arc invited to join, ins the Thankoffering and so help ia contributing the last £100.000 required to attain the church's objective. The fund is to be applied firstly bjr each congregation paying off the debt of its own church, in the aggregate £200,000 and the last £100>000 is to assist the work o| Missions Maori and Foreign); to aid the Beneficiary Fund; to help in--crease the Stipends of lower paid Ministers and Home Missionaries; i.nd to bu!ld up a sites and buildings fund.
