The Farmers' Auctioneering Co. report having held their fortnightly sale at the Edgecumbs yards on Monday. A good yarding of pigs was offered to a representative bench o5 buyers from outside an:l local. We quote: — Heavy baconers £3 12s (kl to £3 lS'.s; medium baconers £3 t 0 £3 8s; light baconers £2 1 (J-> to £2 15>s; heavy porkers £2 10s to £2 15s; medium porkers £2 2s to £2 8s; slips 26s to 32s 6d; large stores to £2 14s;* weaners 14s to 235; sows with litters to £9.
The next sale Avill be hekl on Monday, October 9.
