Fat Ave'tliers remained on a; par Avith last Aveek's quotations. Fat suitable for butchers' requirement sold frcclv Avliile killable and forward conditioned sheep AAcre also in demand. No alteration can be reported for a small yarding of store hoggets and cull ewes. Cattle: A large offering of ox beef, including many pens of avcll finished animals. Competition was not quite as keen as last AAeek i AA'ith values slightly easier. A good yarding of coav and heifer beef met a brisk demand, Avith values in this section remaining firm. An aA'erage yarding of boner coavs sold fully up to schedule rates. One heavy prime Hereford bullock from Mr H. Vickc-rs, Ngahine pouri, made £13 ss, other prime bullocks from the same vendor £13 10s to £14 17s 6d. A consignment of medium to prime bullocks from Mr J. H. Gore Tnhikaramca, rcalis- 1 ed £12 5s to £13 Avhilst a truck of prime bullocks ex: the South aA reraged £14. Medium prime -cattle from Messrs Blackett Bros. Te Kowhai sold up to £12 15s. In the coav and heifer section a nen of heavy prime heifers from Mr Hall, Ohaupo Road, averaged £12 Is, Avith light urime heifer'; from Mr H. Tickers, Ngahinepouri a Averaged £10 15s.
