LYCEUM CLUB
DRAMATIC CIRCLE Due to the petrol restrictions there were not as many ladies at the Lyceum Club on Monday as usual. Many of those present walked and others arrived on bicycles. However a very enjoyable evening was held when "George and Margaret/' a hilarious corned} 7 in three acts by Gerald Savory, was read and acted. Those in the cast Avere: Gladys, Miss F. Sloane; Malcolm j Mrs E. Armstrong; Alice, Miss M. Whiteside; Dudley, Miss M. Dell; Frank'uMrs Fletcher-Colc; Claude, Miss P Ngatai: Roger, Mrs P. Sisam; tlv new maid, Mrs Warner. Among those present were: M" F. Appleby . Mr<s ,L. Littlejohn, M' c G. Mrs A. J. Hopkirk, J. Gonolly,. Mrs .Gs 1 /T3oqthf£]Vi£s Armstrong, Mrs E. Haulta'n. Greemip, Haultain Mullins. vS'tffjp'cfc was "served at the close the play'.-
