EDGECUMBE MEETING
A largely attended meeting of those interested in forming a branch of the Red Cross Society Avas held in the Green, Parrot Hall, Edgecumbe, on Monday last. It was unanimously decided to form a branch at Edge cumbe and the folloAving officers were elected: —President: Mrs Le Lievre; A'ice-president: Mrs W. B. Goav: secretary: Mrs J. Jamiesou; treasurer: Mrs Thompson; Mrs Hodson, Lecturer of Home Nursing; committee: Mesdames Burke, Grey ■Hu.tton- • -Irving, McCracken. The first meeting of the new branch will be held, at Edgecunlbe on Moilday.
