EXPECTATIONS
The Limond gelding, Birthday Boy owned by Messrs Nicholson and Davis < Auckland, is by his satisfactory traclc work, raising the expectations of his stable connections in re„ spcct to his racing chances this season. Hitherto he has been somewhat difficult to train, in fact he was returned from Australia lor this reason, but until such time as the tracks again become hard be should have opportunities of performing up to tile standard of his breeding.
