HEN ADOPTS KITTENS
A cat belonging to Mrs George Clark, of Hampton Lusj', returned to her after a brief absence, to find that a hen had taken charge of her offspring—and, what*s more, refused to give them up. She sat over them as if they were chickens, and every time the eat approached, drove her away. Finally, to save the kittens from dying of hunger Mrs Clark had to remove the hen.
