LABOUR RESOLVE
POLITICAL PROPAGANDA TO CEASE The members of the New Zealand Labour Party, Awakeri Branch; held their monthly meeting in the Awakeri Hall on Tuesday evening September sth. . It was decided to ask Mr C. Wilson ( of Edgecumbe to address the branch at the next monthly meeting. to be held in the Awakeri Hall on October 3rd on Pig Marketing Association matters. Members of other branches are cordially invitc-1 to attend. It was unanimously decided to cease all political propaganda indefinitely, and to concentrate on collective effort to restore peace to the stricken Nations of Europe. The secretary, Mr F. B. was instructed to send a letter to the Prime Minister, expressing hoartful thanksjthat-)he is back on ' the job igain. ■ i;' s -i '- -MTlfcf W. Taylor presented h's report oti the last dance.
