THE GOLF SEASON
WHAKATANE TOURNAMENT On September 23, 24 and 25 the Whakatane Golf Club holds its annual open tournament at Paroa ant! with the links in their present splendid condition golfers are keenly look ing forward to this enjoyable fixture. Entries are coming in well 3 and the secretary, Mr A. Clark, hopes that all members who will be competing will notify him by the weekend. This will assist him very greatly in his work.
