THE N.Z. CUP
The New Zealand Cup run in November f has attracted 69 entries, including quite a number who have little pretentions to entering into the two miles contest. Te Aroha is represented in the list by Mr Swney's chestnut mare, Golden Sheila. This Gay Shield mare has wintered excep. tionally well, and bears a more robust appearance than ever before. She is to contest the sprint event on the second day at Avondale and the gallop should be beneficial.
