Small daughter thereupon went out side to the chopping block 9 lifted the axe and chopped a finger off to the consternation of her father and mother fviien she came back inside and showed them what she had done. The small stoic did not let out one whimper, either then or when her mother bandaged up the finger. District Nurse McKay was summoned t and she brought the child to Dr F, Appleby when further treatment was given.
