Among the smart juveniles in work at Takanini is one that is claimed to be exceptionally brilliant. This is Merrymeer by Vermeer-Merry Way On Saturday morning this two year old registered 11 2-5 seconds for the first furlong of a sprint with Gay Miss. This will take some beating during the season ever* when the tracks become firmer.
