STREET CROSSING

Sir i —Shouldn't something be done about the danger of pedestrians cross ing the Strand anywhere and every, where? This street is a busy one with motor traffic practically all day and even two or three evenings a week. There are white lines for the protection of foot-traffic but little use of these is made. It is- hardly : fair that motor vehicles should bts held up every few yards. I think some white lines might be put across the Strand at D . McL. Wallace's and at the Post Office. Yours, etc., / MOTORIST*
