WIN FOR PAtIOA 12—3 POROPORO'S POOR TACKLING Poroporo owed their defeat last Saturday in. the match against Pa. roa, to the poor tackling both by the backs and the forwards. The game was keen and fast from whistle to whistle anil though the defeated team played well up and carried their full share of the attacking, they displayed a weakness in bringing their men down that was little short of surprising. Paroa winning by a margin of nine points, were aggressive anil enterprising, and usually managed to put the finish to most of their movements. The game which was watched by a fairly large gallery had many exciting moments. The teams were:— Paroa (black): R. Crapp, S. Bluett .liohapata Lawson, P. Howell, J: Courteney.
