/ MITCHELL BRILLIANT N. A. Mitchell, Otago, played brilliantly against North Auckland at Wha-ngai'ei on Wednesday when the home side was beaten by 23 to 13. Mitchcll later announced that he would not be available for th_> South African tour and in view of his exhibition this decision is keenly regretted. At times he played North Auckland on his own, repeatedly snapping up to go through himself or to hand out to his supports.
