OUR JEAN PREVAILS
On her winning form at Te Arolia in February when she won the Juvenile Handicap, five furlongs, in 1.0 1.5 and ran second on the following day to Silver Stick in 59 3-5, Our Jean looked quite a likely prospect as a stake winner in the First Division of the Sylvia Park Handicap at Ellerslie. Running true to form she gave her opponents little chance of catching her in the dash to the winning post. This big, upstanding filly is likely to race well in the present season.
