Reserves held the upper hand at first and scored within a few minutes when Green dribbled almost the length of the field. The kick missed !LO. Then Old Boyis for'eed after a forward rush. Old Boys had rallied and territorially were on top until hal'ftiiiKY. In the second spell they were again aggressive 5 and Rowson dodged through for a try, which was converted. 8~(5. J. Moore was hurt in a tackle but resumed. Laloli lined well down from a penalty, but Reserve forwards cleared. A strong wind favoured the Old Boys for line kicking and they kept the pressure up. D"ummond was hurt and carried off after a tearing rush wa; checked under the posts. On the resumption Contls nipped over and scored. The k'ck was over.
