VENDORS MEET THE MARKET Dalgety and Co., Ltd., repprt hav: ing held their Spring Horse Fair in Whakatane on Tuesday, when the full advertised number of horses came forward, and were submitted lo a full bench of buyers, from Audi Waikato, Tauranga and local districts. Prices were on a par with recent sales, vendors meeting the market, and there were very few passings. We quote: Unbroken horses 3 year fillies 310 to £24; 3 year geldings'.to £10 10s; light sorts £2 10s to £5 I0s; : broken horses, 4 year gelding t chains £20; 8 year gelding, all work £19= other useful sorts £7 to £12 10s; hacks £10 to £13 ss.
